Data protection (GDPR)
Good practices and rules applying to your personal data.
The key principles
The GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) governs the use of your data around six principles: lawfulness, fairness and transparency; specified and legitimate purposes; minimisation (collect only what is necessary); accuracy; limited storage in time; integrity and confidentiality (security).
Your data on this site
The information in the commitment form (identity, contact details, availability, role, t-shirt size, notes, signature and any documents) is collected by the organisation of the Trail du Plan-de-la-Tour for the sole purpose of building and coordinating the volunteer team for the 2026 edition. It is accessible only to the organisation, never resold, stored securely (HTTPS, restricted access) and deleted after the edition.
Your rights
At any time you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data, as well as the right to withdraw your consent. To exercise them, contact the organisation at luc@damotic.fr. In case of disagreement, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL.
Good practices
We undertake to request only what is necessary, to inform you clearly, to secure storage, to restrict access to the organisation and to keep your data only for as long as useful. On your side, attach only the documents actually requested and avoid sending unnecessary sensitive data.
